My mom transferred from another long-term care facility, and the team was very helpful all the way. Once COVID-19 was in the US, they followed all precautions to protect residents. My parents had been married for 56 years, and my dad walked from his home to visit my mom daily. When the home closed for visitation, the team made room for my dad to stay safely there, too. They treated my parents like relatives. My mom recently passed, but she and my dad spent her last several months together in the same room.

I had the pleasure of having my Mom reside at Blue Lakes Assisted Living for 2 years. Her experience there was by far the best care I have ever witnessed in my 8-plus years of working with assisted living facilities. The team cares deeply for each and every resident as if they too were family. They went above and beyond to make Mom feel special for birthdays and holiday celebrations.

When our 101-year-old mother had to move from independent living to assisted living, we were so blessed to have found Blue Lakes. They made her transition as easy as we could have hoped for. She is gaining weight because she loves the home-cooked meals. We live in Hawaii, so the team sends us photos and videos so we can see how she’s doing. Mahalo for taking care of our mother and treating her like Ohana.

I highly recommend Blue Lakes Assisted Living. They took excellent care of my mother who was already on hospice when she moved in. She was very high maintenance, and no matter what she challenged them with, they went above and beyond to make sure she was taken care of. They are very trustworthy and do an outstanding job.

I came to Blue Lakes after a prolonged hospital stay about two years ago. Left once for about three weeks and came back. The facility is maintained immaculately at all times. All of the caretakers are extremely attentive to my needs and address them immediately. All the food you can eat and snacks are available on request. Anyone can be happy here — including veterans.

My mother has been living and THRIVING at Blue Lakes for 8 years. This private and non-commercial home is upscale, immaculate, and provides an oversized bedroom with private half bathroom to every guest. Her every need is met proactively and responsively, and she is treated like an important part of a small senior community. I used to worry about my mother when she lived on her own — now I am so at peace that she is safe and content.

What a wonderful home! We are so grateful to Blue Lakes Assisted Living for the care and love they gave our Mom. She lived with them for seven years and was very comfortable and happy. The team became family to her and to our family. Each resident has their own beautifully decorated room with a private half bath. They provide nutritious meals and snacks, including Mom’s favorite… ice cream. I would tell anyone looking to give their loved one a safe and happy home, Blue Lakes is the perfect place.
